So I don't have this particular book, but I have another of his books related in general to Maiden's discography. I forget the name. I'm honestly not a fan of Popoff. He just seems like a very opinionated crotchety old man who doesn't seem to care much for Maiden past like Seventh Son. And I'm ok with him having his opinions, but I don't want to read a book where at least half the albums get dumped on. If I wanted that negativity I'd...well....just read these forums.Does anybody have Martin Popoff's Hallowed Be Thy Name book? Is it worth buying?
That said, maybe his Hallowed book is more betterer, I couldn't say. But I'm certainly not buying any more of his shit.
The Infinite Dreams book is masterful and I enjoyed reading through it. I wish there was more effort and time on the 90s and onward but that seems to be the case with every official book or documentary from Maiden.
