Before At the Gates Tomas LIndberg (RIP!) started his career as a serious growler in Grotesque - a band that had a decisive impact on the creation of Swedish death metal in the late 80s! More than Death Metal Grotesque were probably more black metal inspired with song titles such as "In the Embrace of Evil" and "Church of the Pentagram"!

Sometimes you’ve got to get back to the roots. I love those times when I put on a classic Maiden album and relive the moments that made me love this band in the first place. I feel like a 14-year-old again, loving the heck out of Maiden’s offerings.
