Regardless of how (un)realistic this is, songs I'd love to hear live are:
Quest For Fire
Childhood's End
Como Estais Amigos
There are obviously more and ideally every single song would've been played at least once, but I had to limit myself to three after all.
That might be true, but then he wouldn't have mentioned the key of the song. QFF verse have the same issues as the final vocal lines in Total Eclipse: Incredibly impressive what notes and pitches Bruce managed to hit, sounds completely unmusical due to the incoherent vocal line written by Steve.
Yes, he said that recently, but I also believe he was lying and playing the "I'm so clueless about music theory, I just play around" card. You don't work for more than 4 decades in music without picking up the basics.
Maybe I'm being too pendantic about this, but I'm pretty sure Bruce knows enough about music to be a bit more specific with his language. He could say it's about the register instead of saying key, since the latter includes everything from extreme low notes to piercing high notes; that's how...
This didn't address anything in my comment. I specifically said that I don't care about the logistics. I care about specifics like the setlist and the theme. On these matters we have absolutely no information or leaks yet. Read the entire thing in context, don't just quote one part of a larger...
There's nothing weird about QFF's key. It's in E minor, just like The Trooper or Hallowed Be Thy Name. The issue is that the vocal lines in the verses are totally absurd and written by someone who (at least at the time) was not familiar with how singers approach their lines.
Gotta say, I really don't care about if Maiden are playing stadiums, arenas or other venues. I'm more interested in potential setlists and the visual design of upcoming tours than the logistics and planning of the tour. If they're playing reasonably close to where I live, I'll go and see them...
Another LAD tour would be a massive disappointment for me. There are so many interesting eras but continuously going back to the first five albums is a shame. Cabaret and all that.
