I meant Death Or Glory (which is okay) and Speed Of Light (one of my most hated Maiden songs, I reeeeally dislike that one). Stratego and Days Of Future Past, while not super short, are phenomenal songs imo.

That's unfair to the rockers lol There have been quite a few good ones. TBOS didn't impress me on that front, but Senjutsu had a couple of really good shorter songs. Futureal is just that good of a rocker/an opener, of course other songs will fall short.

Uh, no. It was not specifically about the studio version. It was about the song in general, so talking about both versions is fair game. Quit the semantics, there's no reason for that. You might be talking about the studio version, others talked about the live version. Chill out. Come on...

That's obviously not what I was implying. Maiden are one of the few bands, where many of the songs are much better live. Hallowed or FOTD for example, I only ever listen to the studio versions if I'm listening to the entire album. If I wanna hear those songs, I go for one of the live versions...

Funnily enough Lost In A Lost World is one of my favourites on Senjutsu and I really love that song :D

A friend of mine saw them yesterday at Nova Rock. He's not a Maiden fan, but sent me a text after their show and said "live they're a 12/10, amazing show!". Funny that.

Not a fan of the lyrics in Age Of Innocence, but the music itself is awesome. It's pretty fun how it uses the James Bond chord progression once the distorted guitars kick in.

Damn, I could not disagree more, but that's the beauty of opinions :lol:
