LEGACY OF THE BEAST WORLD TOUR 2022 - **CONTAINS SPOILERS**

It's an interesting setlist, new stuff and relative deep cuts in the first half then hits all the way home for the second half, Trooper, Run to the Hills and Aces High all in the last part of the set will be challenging for Bruce though, I hope he can pull it off across the tour.

LEGACY OF THE BEAST WORLD TOUR 2022 - **CONTAINS SPOILERS**

There have been so many teaser posts in the run up to this show, I think it is likely.

LEGACY OF THE BEAST WORLD TOUR 2022 - **CONTAINS SPOILERS**

I am coming round to the idea of opening with the Senjutusu songs, I actually think the title track into Stratego is possibly a stronger version of the opening equivalent 1-2 on the Book of Souls tour. I still think I would have preferred the new stage theme and title track being held back for...

Legacy Of The Beast Post-Pandemic Leg

Legacy of the Beast stage show in 2018 was far more of a visual spectacle to me than the majority of bands who just have a big TV behind them and call it a day. Rammstein and Tool are the only bands I have seen who I personally feel surpass Maiden in production aspects.

Legacy Of The Beast Post-Pandemic Leg

There seems to have been a price hike for merch across the board, I've been to a number of gigs since restrictions were lifted and the average price for a shirt at an arena show seems to be £35 now rather than £25. I have heard some rumours that many venues, particularly those owned by O2 in the...

Legacy Of The Beast Post-Pandemic Leg

I've been thinking a lot about the upcoming setlist, first of all I think Maiden are between a rock and a hard place here. On the one hand they are not blind to the fact that they have some fans who will love to see new material and some fans who just want the classics and, consequently, that...

Legacy Of The Beast Post-Pandemic Leg

I think it has been said in interviews that Bruce has been the main decision maker for the setlists ever since he came back from his cancer treatment, I think the Steve epics will be saved for the main album tour where they will be the centrepieces of the set in the fashion of The Book of Souls...

Legacy Of The Beast Post-Pandemic Leg

I recently saw Tool and they were rotating about 4 slots in the setlist, including switching between two 15 minute songs (Descending and 7empest). If they can manage a rotating setlist then any band can, but as far as I'm aware Maiden have always had a fairly fixed setlist and don't see the need...

    Maiden’s political silence

Just a thought, but Iron Maiden fans are very passionate like to wear their identity very openly in terms of merchandise, t-shirts etc. Perhaps Maiden did not want to make an overtly anti-Putin statement in case it would bring accusations of subversion and the like upon their fans in Russia...

    Bruce Dickinson

I'm always impressed that Bruce can recall all the lyrics to songs that he hasn't performed in 15-20 years or even longer, given that a lot of singers use teleprompters during live shows etc.

    Russia invades Ukraine

This picture is a photoshop I am afraid, the face is that of a controversial Youtube personality called Sam Hyde. There is a meme involving photoshopping him into extreme situations like combat, terrorism etc.

    Senjutsu - 3rd September 2021

Kerrang nowadays covers the very broad span of rock/alternative, with it's target demographic being predominantly younger music fans. It features a lot of pop-punk, emo and what you might describe as Warped Tour metal, though they do have the bigger classic metal bands on the cover from time to...

    Fc forum and blaze bayley

I'd say I enjoy about 50% of the Blaze songs, but some of these are in spite of the man's vocals rather than because of them. I actually think his more monotone, downcast style suits the brooding, depressed TXF material quite well (Fortunes of War, Judgement of Heaven for instance) but I really...

    Fc forum and blaze bayley

Bruce being a better singer (and specifically a better singer for Iron Maiden) than Blaze is not synonymous with Blaze being an objectively bad singer and TXF and VXI being terrible albums, which appears to be your view. Lots of fans still enjoy Blaze's performances and the material present on...
