I don’t want to sound conspiratorial, but Maiden have released a video on Instagram of the Killer crew naming their favourite songs, and there’s a lot of songs that have been thrown around setlist wise on here. We know the band loves to drop hints. Songs mentioned were: Can I Play With Madness...

They could stick Holy Smoke in, it would have no impact on the rest of the set list at all, and you’d still get some No Prayer representation.

I don’t think their guitar sound has ever been as heavy as it was on AMOLAD. Gloriously crunchy.

The proggy time signature that seems to come out of nowhere for Adrian’s solo in The Time Machine. That really stood out live, in particular.

Mary on a Cross is the better song from that single. I instantly enjoyed it more than Kiss the Go Goat when they were released. Just a shame it’s become TikTokified.

I wouldn’t be surprised if someone within the Maiden hierarchy sat down (Steve/Rod) and had a word with him when it became clear that he wasn’t going to get better as the tour progressed, but allowed him to make his own decision about his future. Probably went something like this.

Not weird per say, but I've always thought the "We are cast out by our bloody father's hand" section and the use of the whammy during Adrian's solo in Lord of Light were pretty unique for a Maiden track.

Funeral through to Things Beyond Things is quite possibly my favourite run of songs on any album ever made.
