Just watched some clips, but Bruce sounds in great form here. Too bad that when he was in Stockholm last summer he also had a cold/just recovered from it, so it hindered some of the performances. Love his solo stuff, opening with Accident of Birth is so hype.
That's a great point. Also in the case of Stockholm, the first night they butchered Phantom, so it was nice to see the song without that the second night.
Agreed. I still hoped that they would play the songs album by album, as started with Killers. But I get why that maybe doesn't work when you try to pace a setlist. But the Clairvoyant should have been closer to SSOASS.
During Stockholm 2018 they badly messed up that part, to the point where I thought that they all might stop playing, but they did manage to salvage it. But if I remember correctly they said in the FC magazine that it was because Nickos kick drum broke.
Agree on all points. I was sceptical before, but when I saw the performance I got really moved actually. I don't think I'll think about Mama I'm Coming Home the same way ever again. I'm glad he got to witness the celebration, and I really liked the set-up. Was a cool show and tribute!
I got many of my first experiences with heavy metal and hard rock from Guitar Hero 2 and 3, and the first Rock Band. It came out at the perfect age for me, I got Guitar Hero 3 for my fifteenth birthday. It very much shaped my taste in music, and got me into the older bands of the genre.
