Outdoor venues for them have always taken away the special feel of their "show" and turned it more into just a concert. I was bummed beyond belief for the last tour in 2024 when I waited my whole life to hear Somewhere in Time songs and dreamed of being in a venue where the lights went dark with...
I don't want another album and I know Dave doesn't either. He is probably next to retire and honestly, how can they go on without him? He has been with Steve since the 70s and is the longest running one aside from Harris himself... The other guys have side projects except Janick so they can keep...
I know I am late to the party and with the last tour being focused on SIT, I'd love to see something from SIT that was NOT played last tour for the 40th anniversary of the album... Sea of Madness is likely the only contender.... I can dream.
it made me sad for the last tour. I always wanted to be indoors for when the Bladerunner theme started and it all went dark... The scenic backdrop and lighting rig were close to 1986 and it would have looked, and yes, sounded better indoors. Shame. I was too happy though finally getting to hear...
I will also have to go to Charlotte, again.... I do not like their shows in outdoor venues... I can't believe Florida, again is skipped. We always sold out shows and the energy was always great. Not knocking NC but this means traveling again... May consider San Antonio show instead. We get both...
2 years ago today, they kicked off the Future Past Tour and satisfied my deepest longings as a somewhere in time fan. They opened with Caught Somewhere in Time. Man I loved seeing that show in 2024.. I tried to get tix for Europe dates but none were to be found after the set-list reveal. I think...
They rehearsed Infinite Dreams in 2012 and decided against it. Maybe too slow for them or something... idk... they played it too fast in 1988 so we never got a decent live recording of it....
Haven't been on here in some time but here I go.
I am happiest with the middle of the set (excluding RTTH) I hate that song. I have been on every tour but 2 I think since the year 2000 so I have heard nearly the whole set at some point except for Killers and Murders I think (not remembering the...
I'd be willing to bet Maiden as a whole wrap up after 2026. Their 50 year tour will most definitely be a greatest hits of the 80s and early 90s tour. No new albums are needed and with Bruce, Steve and Adrian all doing side projects, it may be that time..
