It really puts things into perspective seeing the "infamously bad" artwork next to actual nothing pieces.
This human makes a lot of sense and keeps things grooving. It feels pretty openAI, so it'll be interesting to see what actually happens once the autobots roll out.

I remember, I was about to vote and went on a hunt to find out if Hugh Syme also made the art for Into the Mirror Black lol.

I've heard Phanerozoic II in its entirety once exactly. Felt that the first one is so much more catchy and interesting. So we'll see if I just didn't give it enough time, but right now it's a Dance of Death situation, where you have a mostly unimpressive album, and the band just casually throws...
Opeth fun fact: the reason he sings "we enter winter once again" in The Leper Affinity, is because it's a song about fucked up shit, and winter is a fucked up season that shouldn't exist.
IE3 has some fantastic songs. Already Won, Eagle Spirit... It's easily one of his weakest albums, but I can't believe I'm the only voter who doesn't think it deserves dead last here :/ The Wake was a pretty great discovery from this year.

What a mess, in 5 minutes I went from "surely I'm giving 3 to AMOLAD" to this. I think Powerslave is kind of overrated (guess we'll see), but it does look pretty...

I so feel that, it's like this for me too. I always thought having this kind of connection with the music is in a way the aspiration of...
It was between Prologue and Firepower for me back when we made lists (obviously you pick the one that isn't guaranteed to get in), but since then I discovered Phanerozoic I in the summer. What a killer album, especially but not only the three long tracks. It has nasty, beautiful, and epic in...
