They have more lights on the sides now, so you notice it less. But it still does not look good when it comes to big stadiums. They could just add fire machines and whatever on the sides (below the screens) to make things more immersive.

If you play a 40k stadium (because the capacity was never going to be 70k anyway) and draw a crowd of 26k, the show sold poorly. Sad to say, but that's what it is. And I guees it came as a surprise for the band as well...
It has nothing to do with other shows. The rest was sold out, or the venues were much smaller. A big stadium costs a lot more than an arena. Proof to that is that they are yet to come back after that show.
