I think it's worth pointing out (yet again) what a fantastic forum this is, the level of intelligent questioning and applied knowledge is second-to-none.

I thought it was, I'm sure I remember a feature or review that described they announced they would be miming to the studio track for the video, and the audience booed, so they played it live straight afterwards...

I remember it was being sold at the InterCity Express tour dates. I remember it as being basically sub-Tom Sharpe stuff, if it wasn't Bruce Dickinson that wrote it it probably wouldn't have been published. There was a sequel but I didn't bother with it.

Indeed, the drum sound was perfect, Nicko seemed a lot more on the ball than at Donington, no obvious dropping of the beat that I could hear

The sound was better than at Donington, but very 'boomy', the guitars came in and out of focus during solos and the more powerchordy songs were very muddy, especially during the first half of the gig. Nicko was very clear, but Bruce was very indistinct, It was a better-than-average performance...

£5 a pint in the arena! Glad I pre-loaded on cheap canned lager instead...
