I’m likely in a minority here but I reckon the faster paced stuff live is way better. I can hear the album tempo any time, the fast pace makes everything so much more energetic and exciting. My only grumble with the new drummer.
And to compound my sins, I enjoy them messing with the solos a...
I’m not interested in Dave’s lyrics, so I enjoyed this one.
Lyrics in metal are, more often than not, childish and silly. Ignore them and enjoy the music!
I suppose that there’s much more chance now that a new album would be the last one, which adds even more pressure to go out on a high.
If Steve is happy with the three epics that ended Senjutsu, he might think that he’s not going to top them so best leave things as they are.
This is the sort of thing that Steve would say if he wanted to keep the recording plans quiet for now. He has been misleading before about future plans.
But it’s also what he would say if he wasn’t enthusiastic about recording again.
So we’re none the wiser, really.
These ‘issues’ are likely things that they all talked about - and probably joked about (they all have a sense of humour) - in private.

As for the question, both top tier songs. Hell just edges it for me as the lyrics are better.
Having thought about it, the one complaint I was going to make isn’t actually a complaint.
It’s having different sounding production on songs from the same album.
The production, good or bad depending on taste, seems pretty uniform from BNW to FF (within in each album, obviously there’s a...
If your ‘values’ and ‘beliefs’ are wishing death upon people then it’s probably best to keep that private. Or between yourself and your psychiatrist.
If you can’t keep it private, then the entertainment business probably isn’t for you.
Poor old Sideshow Bob now seems to have been dropped by his agent, banned from the U.S thus cancelling his tour and has plod after him.
If only he’d had a manager like Rod to reign in his stupidity!
Without knowing what it was a response to, it’s impossible to know.
That in itself does not suggest that she ‘supports concentration camps’.
That looks like she’s mocking someone who was trivialising some sort of atrocity by using a ‘context’ argument.
That’s more likely than her...
