God the title track to Senjutsu is boring

I love that album

Blazes voice is still great but I did notice seeing him live last year that he has finally lost a step

Completely bizarre song but not bad

Blazes voice on "As Live as it Gets" always blows me away. He's not quite in his vocal prime anymore, still good, but his voice from 2000-2010 was fucking tremendous.

Nicko sounds just as checked out as does on VXI though. TXF had some great Nicko drumming moments but also songs like LOTF where he's solid but completely straight with no fills. Just a bit odd for him. VXI he sounded like a drum machine and he does here too.

Run silent run deep goes from using F#s to Fs and then into A and B into C# quite interesting in the verse

The tempos and stamina is why I can't really play most of Maidens 80s material on the bass 90s onwards is mostly fine. E power chord to C to G to D etc

If they just tour from now on I hope the next tour is a different tour and setlist
