my favorite band (Phish) live streams almost all of their shows for a fee. now, they play a completely different set night after night so i'm not sure if it would generate as much revenue for maiden, but they could stream a handful of their shows each tour and I would certainly pay
i had heard a couple of their songs through the years (which i always enjoyed) but back in 2012, i was sitting at home flipping through the channels and i caught the Flight 666 film on Palladia. Completely sucked me in. Afterwards, I thought "man, Maiden is fucking awesome. i need to get into...
TGU was awesome live. enjoyed it way more than TOAC.
even though the book of souls tour is officially in the book, i'd really love for them to play shadows of the valley or when the river runs deep next year. fucking love those tunes.
section 109 for brooklyn. goddamn. i am excited. i hope that i can resist the temptation to see the updated setlist after they tour. i went in to the april shows with no knowledge of the tour setlist.
i'm doing barclay's in brooklyn. i was already gonna be in town for Phish at madison square garden that weekend so this is gonna be an epic vacation for me.
i think VXI is awful and i don't even like 'the clansman' outside of the intro riff
i also think that if bruce had been the vocalist for x factor, it would be seen as the true maiden comeback album instead of BNW
most touring bands in the US don't release their summer dates until after the first of the year. there is no way that maiden doesn't tour the US next summer. judging by when their UK/euro tour ends, i wouldn't be surprised if they play Bonnaroo for the first time.
