I have always liked Gangland!!! I think that Total Eclipse was almost too different to be an album track. Well, saying that: it reminds me a bit on Children Of The Damned and 22 Acacia Avenue, with those slow moody breakdowns in there. To me, Number Of The Beast was always some kind if favourite...

I would say that overall production, especially how guitars are produced on Piece Of Mind. The balance between guitars is good, rhythm guitars are chunky and aggressive, leads sound piercing but clear. Compared to The Number Of The Beast which also has a good guitar-sound, Piece Of Mind is much...

Right now, I´d say it´s Killers!!! As I´m actually listening to it :p But maybe Piece Of Mind or some of the more recent albums. Final Frontier is quite good, overall album is much better than what I excepted at the time. Guitars sound pretty good, even if it´s not Martin Birch producing...

Someone had "Bruce Dickinson; Interview 1982" listed on their bootleg-list. Any info on that one? Likely the first Maiden-interviews Bruce gave... Maybe it was BBC or something, not sure of that...

Well, the book didn´t shed any details on the case. It mentions that Clive had to leave for his father´s funeral and be away for few weeks, during the USA Tour 1982... Maybe we should ask Nicko when did he first fill in for Clive :) ... If he remembers...

Wonder what those old live tapes would sound like...

I think that time line of Clive´s absence from the band was actually mentioned in the book Origins Of The Killers (or what it was called) about Maiden 1975-83. I have the book, but can´t check it right now, ´cos our drummer lent it and he´s a bit slow reader, it seems :)

Bruce mentioned that he came up with the drum intro whilst jamming with Adrian, while Clive was getting a cup of tea or something...

I always thought that this song was vastly underrated, at least Clive´s drumming comes nicely up front.
