This is true, but there are many who'll listen to what the radio, MTV or what have you will tell them to listen to. Very, VERY seldom these days are those bands worth their weight in crap.

There are better artists and bands out there than BLS and In Flames, you have to find them, and a lot of it isn't in Best Buy or what have you, thats my point. Whatever floats your boat though.

You should look into the less commercially out there stuff from indie labels like Southernlord or Tank Crimes if you want to hear some great harder to find/newer bands, because that statement makes me think you don't listen to any bands that you can't simply waltz into Best Buy to get an album from.

That's also why record stores are dying, because people want to download crap immediately instead of going through the "work" of going to the store, then putting the cd in a stereo to play, or the needle on a record ::)  That and they listen to nothing that would be worth owning on a physical...
