Maybe they won't do album tour and then farewell tour, vibe doesn't seem that way. I'm starting to believe that when they come back in 2028, their album tour would be their farewell tour. It's very unmaiden way to do it, but it seems to be that way.

I just realized, in span of 24h Iron Maiden announced documentary, teased more tour dates and it was announced that they're nominated for rnr hall of fame.

Or that yes. I mean, it's Iron Maiden, there's gotta be at least one song in it's entirety on film.

I think every movie/documentary that was put in cinemas by music artists eventually got DVD/Blu ray release (God bless Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica' through the never and some kind of monster), even theirs Flight 666 was in cinemas I believe, so why not

Would be cool if they featured whole songs played live in the documentary, similar to 12 wasted years. But from their "most important shows" - ruskin arms 1980, Hammersmith 1982, long beach arena 1985, rock in rio 1985, donington 1992, something with Blaze idk, rock in rio 2001, something from...

I just hope it's done as "history" documentaries on DVDs. I don't honestly care about Lars and who else is mentioned to talk about Maiden, I would really like to see all members talk about their respective eras. I'm mostly interested in Blaze' reflection on his time in the band.

Well yeah, I think after 17 albums, safe route is the way for any band. I prefer longer storytelling epic songs, so I favor Maiden any day over JP. JP' safe route is short kick ass songs (which are mostly not so kick ass imo, but talking objectively here). Contrary, JP made longer songs - entire...

I honestly think it's safer for Maiden to go "longer songs" route. With longer songs there is more room for creativity (whether they use it or not), but woth shorter ones you kinda have to nail and main riff and chorus and solo to make it worth, otherwise it would become parody of their older...

It's a shame that Maiden won't change setlist for THE 50th anniversary show. Like, put more songs, or change it completely to put it out of RFYL frame would be cool, otherwise it really is just another Maiden show.
