I just find it very average, few of the songs fail to excite me.

Quite possibly the most overrated album in music history? Had it been released in the 80's most people would count it as Maiden's worst album of that decade, but Bruce's return for this one has blown its reputation way out of proportions.

Along with Dance Of Death, it's the worst album they recorded with Bruce. And yes, I'm counting No Prayer For The Dying and Fear Of The Dark as well.

Too overblown, it might have been a good song for Nightwish, but I don't enjoy Maiden's version of it.

It annoys me that Steve stopped caring about interesting bass lines after 1990. It was such a key feature for me in Maiden's music, I really miss them.

Aces High is definitely one of them, I'm amazed it hasn't been mentioned yet.

Very, very good album, much better than I had expected! Vocalist is OK, not outstanding but he has a nice voice to listen to. ALTHOUGH, I would have absolutely LOVED if Steve had teamed up with Blaze Bayley again to sing on this!!!
