I still can't understand why some people always talk about Joe Lazarus and how come that he didn't get the gig. I mean, he is as close to Maiden as someone could be. I'm sure there is a good reason why Simon was choosen, and not Joe.

Staying with "When She's Gone", it's interesting that Adrian uses very similar licks and melodic fills like he did on the slower parts of Sea of Madness and Stranger in a Strange Land. Since he wrote these songs around the same time, it's not that surprising, but an interesting little detail.

Anyone else here loving the A.S.A.P. album? Yeah, it's different, but I'm enjoying it. Oddly, the best song for me from that project is When She's Gone, and it only released as a B side.
