Absolutely! It's a top 5 from Adrian. Face in the Sand, Dance of Death, When The Wild Wind Blows, Hell on Earth, The Book of Souls.... there are too many.
Most of his solos are very good or great. They always move the song to an upper level IMO. If I had to pick only one, I'd say The Writing On the Wall solo is his greatest.
5 from Senjutsu:
Stratego (if they don't play DOFP, and I won't be surprised if they don't)
The Writing on the Wall
Hell on Earth
The Parchment
The Time Machine
5 from SIT:
CSIT
ATG
Wasted Years
HCW
SIASL
5 classics:
Fear of the Dark
Iron Maiden
TNOTB
The Trooper
Wicker Man
Even though not being a fan of SIT album (and generally 80s), I feel happy for all the fans who have been waiting for this and to hear ATG live. Thanks to Maiden for listening to their fans. I think it will be the first time they will play songs which were not played during the relevant album tour.
The poll finally ended with the triumph of ROTAM. Thanks again to everyone for voting/sharing your opinions. Congratulations to Iron Lurker, who was able to make the below stated prediction at the end of round 1:
"Prediction: will ultimately come down to Hallowed vs. Hell On Earth, or maybe...
You may be right, time will tell. However, WTWWB is a top 5 song for me and much better then the classics like The Trooper, Aces High, 2MTM, RTTH, HBTN and many more...
Dear friends, we've come to the final part of our poll. Thanks a lot to everyone for joining. It lasted almost 3 months and some results were surprising, some were expected. I was happy to see my top 3 IM songs were all voted as the best songs of their respective albums (TBOS, Dance of Death and...
Rime of the Ancient Mariner has been our first finalist for the best song poll. Now, we will find out the second one! Will it be FTGGOG or Hell on Earth?
Songs in round 3: Rime of the Ancient Mariner, For the Greater Good of God, Hell on Earth.
Plus, Adrian said in an interview that it was Janick who played the outro on TWOTW. Funny, how some people insist to know better than Adrian and Kevin, the men who recorded, produced (Kevin); and co-wrote and played guitar (Adrian) on the song.
