voted for HOE, but WTWWB or EOTC are almost equally great closers for me.

I am very happy with their sound, style, and song/guitar arrangements of the reunion era. The kind of songs I like most are the long epics with slow intros/outros... and thanks to Steve and Janick, Maiden has a lot of them:)

:yes: Lol! I have to agree on this. Even though TBOS is my favourite album, TMOS is the weakest part of it.

There are 5 10/10 songs for me in TBOS (Eternity, Empire, title track, TRATB, and Shadows) vs. only 1 in Senjutsu (HOE). That being said, I like both albums a lot.

One of my favourite IM songs; in my personal top 10 actually. Great guitar and vocal melodies, and Janick's solo is his best after Blood Brothers IMO. I was really surprised back then, when it was not included in the BOS tour setlist. It would have worked much better than Tears of a Clown or...

You have a point there. I forgot about the live album...Hopefully they will record album #18 in 2027 and release in 2028. Even with all the solo/side projects and a live album release in 2027; I don't think it is hard to find a 6-8 week gap in 52 weeks to record a new album.

IMO Maiden will keep touring as long as Steve (mainly) and Bruce are willing and able to perform. At this point, they are the only irreplaceable members of the band. I don't like to see any of the 3 amigos replaced, but I think if Dave or Adrian retires before the band call it quits, Steve will...

I can't remember exactly when or where, but I read or heard something like "Montsegur was so hard for Bruce to sing live". Maybe they rehearsed the song, and it did not work well. Not sure what happened really...

You cannot force or make anybody to like a certain type of music, no matter how old/young they are. I never listened and rarely heard rock/heavy metal until I was 15. That changed the first time I heard Bohemian Rhapsody, which made me a lifetime Queen fan. Even then, I was not into heavy metal...

I love the live version of Coming Home in En Vivo, and Journeyman in Death on the Road.
