Janick's signature seems to be the exact same guitar as Vintera II 60s Strat except it comes with Duncans and black finish. Literally all the specs are the same. And you can get that Vintera for less than €1000 new. I'd love to have the signature, but this is such a rip off. It bothers me...

Apparently the Janick model is Fender's "web exclusive" and they only take orders from a few countries in Europe. That's super lame...

The Trooper. It's obviously a great song, but at this point I've heard it so many times that it doesn't do much to me when I hear it. There are other overplayed classics for sure, but I feel like they are more dynamic than Trooper, which makes them more engaging, I guess.

Objectively speaking, it's an amazing setlist for casual fans. Great selection of hits. For me the biggest thing about this show are the visuals - from what I've seen it looked really interesting and very well designed. Especially during Rime - it seemed to elevate the whole storytelling aspect...

Background visualisations for Rime looked insanely good. I've always thought drapes and inflatables have their charm and Maiden should stick to them, but this seems like a game changer. Very well designed and cool looking, at least from what I've seen in a low quality video.

The new album is more of a grower compared to the previous two albums (which made kinda definitive impression pretty quick). For me it's one of those situations where the singles turn out to be the best tracks on the record, so the first contact with the rest was slightly underwhelming...

I wouldn't be so harsh on Steve Lazarus. Yes, these were bad comments, shouldn't have posted that, but I kinda understand the guy's disappointment. It's not like there was no premise to hope his son gets the gig. Let's also remember Joe is not his father, so I don't see how those comments prove...
