It is still seen as the odd stepchild of the reunion. I have never understood the negativity towards the album. Ok the mix is not the strongest and there are a few weaker songs, but there is a good balance between long and short songs and the longer songs have some interesting parts to them.

The Final Frontier will always be overlooked by a large proportion of the fanbase. It’s a shame, as it was the last album where Adrian was actually adventurous with his song writing.

Referencing my earlier post, Jack Sherman played guitar for the Chili Peppers first album but he didn’t get inducted. I know there was some bad blood between them, but not inducting him was a piss poor move. It seems so random.

I remember the Red Hot Chili Peppers omitted Jack Sherman and Dave Navarro. Both only played on one album. Still it was a pretty douchey thing to do.

Thanks for sharing. Nicko pretty much confirms that the Senjutsu tour would have gone over 2021 and 2022 if the pandemic hadn’t come along. I am still convinced they would have put TWOTW in the setlist for the LOTB 2020 tour. Senjutsu would have come out on September 2020 after the tour.

Downtuning is good, but it doesn't stop the march of ‘Father Time’. Some songs will just be off limits regardless of tuning.
