I would surprised if we get another album. It is clear that they are in the latter stages of their career. Although a more album would be nice, I think touring is the priority now. Part of me also likes the thought of Hell on Earth being their final song.

I watched the live video of Starchildren from the warmup shows. I’m not a huge fan of the song but I really dug it live. Probably because it hasn’t got that annoying pipe clanging sound throughout most of the song.
I would take Maiden playing the same set list every night to them rotating the set list with a click track. I hate the concept with a passion.
Maiden haven’t rotated songs really ever. 2010 is one occasion that I can think of. I don’t know why people complain about it anymore.
I’ve been unable to fish the river all winter because of the rain here in the UK. Now the rivers have closed the weather has improved. Typical!

Would I be right in thinking that the last time they opened a show with a song that wasn’t an album opener was Murders in the Rue Morgue in 2005? I thought the use of Beast in 2003 was quite quirky and worked well.
