I’ll apologise for the bell end comment previously made. I certainly shouldn’t have jumped in this thread all guns blazing with that as an opening line.
I think threads like this are just pointless though and seem to exist just to try and through shade on the band. I get it, this is a maiden...
You’re a bell end plain and simple. Starting a thread for no reason other than to think you’ve got some special info but really you’ve either copied and pasted this from another forum or, you’ve got nothing better to do with your life.
This is a business transaction and has no bearing on how...
I have the usual stuff you’d except a collector to have, all the albums on vinyl and cd along with all the singles on cd, t-shirts, posters etc.
I guess my prized possessions would be:
- eddies head boxset with the 1998 remasters. Head is in mint condition, still got the certificate and the...
Exactly!
Agree with this too. Thankfully elitist fans are a lot fewer in numbers and I’ve also met some really cool people who’ve dedicated their lives to Maiden. Ok so I still find it a bit strange when someone has so little going on in their life that they dedicate their lives to listening...
Not really, it was just an opinion. Just find her and some of the guys on the channel very irritating. I watched her review of the run for your lives tour and it was just a complete pile of shit talk to me.
I rember her from the official FC forum when I used to post there. She was part of a...
Brilliant stuff! Haven’t listened to all the vids yet but the ones I have all sound fantastic. Faves so far are Phantom, Judas be by guide and still life :shred:
The best versions of the albums up to fear of the dark definitely aren’t the 1998 remasters:
I’d say the castle 2 disc versions are the absolute best. Then I’d take the original recordings and then the 2015 remasters ahead of the 1998 versions.
If they do a part 2 of the RFYL tour keeping a few classic era songs and throw in a bunch of reunion era songs that makes total sense to me. Keeps the maiden touring machine going with a similar but different theme.
Now they’ve got the big screens it’s easy to change the stage design, just get...
The thing with a new album is that IF they do release another one then it would 100% be there last ever album. It’s already been 6 years since they recorded Senjutsu and with no new album on the cards at the moment then if we did get one it would probably not be for at least another 2 years...
I don’t think it’s weird at all. When Nicko announced he was stepping away from touring the run for your lives tour had likely already been booked and contracts signed and money had been paid.
Also it’s easy for me to believe that Steve and the rest of the guys probably all sat down and said...
Following on from LooseCannon’s post above the other major factor in my opinion that stops a new album is the sheer scale of it all.
What I mean is every Maiden album is a major event. It’s not like any regular band getting together and writing 10 songs and slapping them on an album. If all it...
My opinion is they’ll be a boxset announced towards the end of year along the lines of Eddies Archives 2.
I really can’t see this meaning a new studio album.
I’ve been saying for a while I really don’t think we’ll get another studio album, just a few more years of touring before the band slows...
I think part of the reason they are so busy touring and releasing new albums is money. Didn’t Biff lose his house in France a few years back and most of his possessions. I remember reading something about it.
I doubt Saxon have made pots of cash over the years so Biff losing his home and all...
Fear of the dark all day long for me. Absolutely love the album and a definite top 5 album.
Sometimes I wonder if it’s nostalgia and rose tinted glasses telling me it’s a great album as it was the first new release album for me as a maiden fan and at the time it was released I just listened to...
