the story so far part 1... rare?

Hi, yesterday I bought the Iron Maiden The Story so Far part 1 box set.
I was wondering how rare this item is? I hear there were only 1000 made, is this true?
Any feedback would be great as I think I picked up a real bargain

It's not a bootleg. It's real, and extremely rare. The bonus discs include the b-sides of the singles.
 
Hi there. Yes all the 2nd cds are the b sides.
I found it in local record store and thought it was a nice little thing to add to my collection.
I had a feeling it was rare but didn't fully know the significance until I was looking it up and finding none for sale anywhere.

Regarding values, all I can tell you is that there is no reliable Maiden price guide or such a thing. An item is always worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I would say that 20 quid is a real bargain and that if you put it up on Ebay for instance, you'd get a lot more than that if you're lucky. But whether it's 50, 100 or 500 pounds depends purely on how big the fanatics are that will find it.
 
Ok thank you for the feedback and I know what you mean about eBay values.
They fluctuate no end, not that this will be going on. It will take pride of place in my collection.

I won't tell the owner of the shop I got it from the rarity of it lol
