New website look

I do too. And now they have an excuse not to update the "singles" section since they removed it.

And oh wow! They have every past tour on there!

They removed the Singles section a while back anyway.

I like it, the old one was getting very out of date.

It turned into an unrestrained, corporate business look, purely focused on the selling aspect.

I do not appreciate it. More photos, less text. One charming aspect was a section about the band members in which they talked about each other. Gone.
The fan club section also looks very minimal now.

Yes, it might look better, but now it's just a facade without any meaningful content. A very impersonal, and as you said, corporate look.

They even removed all of the live albums from the discography page. Wow.

Come on it's allowed to be :p All I would say is that it's a bit dated with no talk of the future, other than that, nothing noticable...

That's what I meant. From that bio, you'd think that Bruce joined in the early eighties (with the time before that being negligible) and all was a big party until Jan was added in 1999. Kind of odd, wouldn't you say?

No, Iron Maiden Commentary is. I wish the commentary had a section with the band's biography. :)

Reliability is one thing. The Maiden website was never really reliable on things such as the discography... I remember one single, I think it was Futureal, was released in "Autumn 1998" or something to that effect. So in that sense, the discography now in fact is better, because with that little information, the chance of making mistakes is minimised.
But what bothers me is the way they really do appear to disown their non-Bruce past by now. I don't know who is responsible for this, but seeing how all songs originally sung by Paul or Blaze in the original are now live versions on the new compilation albums - incidentally the only ones listed on the new website - and that there is no mention at all of them or any other past member on the website is very disturbing. At least the old band bios made a passing reference to Blaze. Let's hope this is just poor, marketing-oriented website design and not a deliberate purge of the band's history.

I did find this picture in the Gallery section.

Wow, Bruce Dickinson sure looked somehow different in the '90s! It's like he got younger! :D

In the discography section, if you click Death On The Road, it just takes you back to the homepage. Any bets on how long it will be before it's fixed?
