For clarity re remaking Balls, the press release says they added new bits to some songs but no mention of re-recording full songs. So kind of a hybrid, not a full remake and not a simple remix

Dickinson says of it, “While mixing all my catalogue into Dolby Atmos I had a nagging desire to revisit and reinvent the record. So putting more balls into ‘Balls…’ was a labour of love. Of course, we beefed up the guitars – courtesy of our ‘Swedish shredder’ Philip Naslund and we added some really beautiful work by Adassi Addasi on ‘Tears…’ as well. Fellow Brazilian composer Antonio Teoli added some stunning orchestral arrangements, and in a unique contribution, added indigenous instruments from the Amazon (recorded by himself when he lived there!) at the beginning of ‘Gods Of War’.
“‘Shoot All The Clowns’ gets the benefit of a horn section fronted by the Berklee College of Music, and all of the record gets the benefit of the mix by Brendan Duffey....

I'm reading people's comments and scratching my head a little over this:

So I wrote these 12 songs, which were in the style of Deep Purple and Hawkwind, and sent them to him. He started working on them – but then I did a very stupid thing. I spoke about it on the internet, and before I knew it the news was everywhere. Bruce’s manager was really angry, and he cancelled the whole project."

How can a manager simply "cancel" a creative project like that? Either Arjen isn't telling the whole story, or Bruce himself decided that he didn't like the songs enough and asked his manager to pull the plug.
I mean, I'm a little confused about how much power Bruce's manager actually had over his creative decisions. Obviously, a manager can influence things, especially when it comes to contracts, scheduling, publicity, etc., but ultimately you'd think Bruce would have the final say over whether he wanted to make an album.
Then again, they've been working together since the '80s, so perhaps his manager is much more than just a manager to Bruce - a trusted adviser, close friend, or even something approaching a father figure. That could make the whole situation rather different.
Just thinking aloud here, because the "Bruce's manager cancelled it" explanation seems a little too simple to me.

The voice sounds softer,verything sounds more softer i like the sound of the album how it was recorded. I say remake because i dont know another word remaster? Adding parts,ok. He can do whatever he wants of course but about tears of the dragon i prefer the song recorded in the cd in 1994 and i prefer the video because the video was indeed a great video. Way better in my opinion than the new one.
A great video. But as i said before he can do whatever he wants to do with his music of course but i preffer the old version
Oh! And thank god he didnt change the solo because if adrian smith has some solos that are history of metal. Roy Z solo in this song is another moment of history of metal. Mega amazing solo tempo speed feeling, all
