Dumb post. As someone who spends a lot cash on Maiden (although thankfully not bald yet), I'd much rather see support bands that aren't geriatric codgers performing along to backing tracks, which sums up most of the "legendary" 70s and 80s bands. And those are the ones who aren't dead yet.
And every time I see a Maiden show, which is every tour by the way, I reckon at least half the audience are under 40. If they only focused their efforts on the balding old men in arse crack denim jeans then they'd be back to performing in theaters and clubs like they were in the Blaze years.
Rod has the right idea. If you don't continue catering to the kids, the band dies.
