RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

So, maybe they planned Run For Your Lives as the global stadium (generally) tour, including:
2025: 32 shows in EU/UK (stadiums/arenas/festivals)
2026: 44 shows (12 in EU/UK - festivals/stadiums; 15 USA/CAN/MEX - stadiums, festivals, some arenas; 9 S. AM - stadiums/festivals; 8 ASIA/OCE - open air/arenas)

I think North American stadium shows are possible if they announce limited dates in the biggest markets, and IM would invite some other popular bands to co-headline some dates (A7X, Slipknot, and a few more).
So my friends, what do you think about my prediction?

Seems plausible, but for me one issue. Why would they play in Europe again next summer. I understand it's big world tour etc but still seems kinda over saturating the market. 2027 in Europe again is more likely if it's the same tour. I guess RFYL tour will follow the same pattern as Future Past tour - one year Europe, following year all the rest of the world.

They would probably want to maximise the tour revenue playing the lucrative European festivals in 2026 with a Greatest Hits set.

I would be very surprised if they do not headline Download next year, which will give Rod a massive opportunity to boast about a record number of headlining appearances.

Edit: Year changed as I had a brainfart; I meant 2026, not 2027.

There are markets they won't visit this year: Balkans, Turkey, Greece etc., if the tour became an event once in the lifetime (as they promised), many people would be interested to see it again in some countries where they do indoors this year.

The option with 2027 EU dates instead of 2026 is in the cards, too. As the press release suggested, I just wanted to schedule EU dates in 2026, making the tour span two consecutive years, 2025/26.

I have edited my original post as I had a brainfart: I think Maiden will headline European festivals with the Run for Your Lives tour in 2026, not in 2027.

Sorry for the confusion.

You had a brainfart twice?! It's official—brainfarts do strike more than once. Sometimes multiple times! The older you get, the finer they become. Like wine.

Please no. I think it has no chance for this tour and now it is being overplayed really.
We can never say it has no chance. It's one of Bruce's favourites. Also, it's not that overplayed. It was in the 00s.It's more likely than Flight and WED. It's either Revelations or Still Life/Boots. Tame is the weird one. Imo it has no chance at all.

I feel Icarus (not that sure) and maybe Boots (I think it's very likely) have more chance than Revelations for his tour. Powerslave too. Still Life no one can tell, To Tame A Land is curious and one of the most wanted deep cuts. Bruce can't play all of his favorites, with 18 songs, maybe. He will want to play different Maiden songs during his solo tour and the Maiden tour, in 2002 was different. Revelations is confirmed, but for a whole tour? Daughter is ruled out for Maiden by him, who knows for his solo tour.

Btw, I hope they will change a few songs between the legs of the tour this time.

I think next year EU set list would be little different than this year, maybe 2 or 3 tracks. I'm OK if they will not play Mariner if they would play TTAL. In fact I really don't care what they play in 2025 as long as they play TTAL. :D

Icarus is retired imo. It wasn't played for 30 years and came back for one tour. Revelations is a song that comes back every other tour. I mean, Bruce's songs that might be played this tour are only 3 : Revelations, Powerslave and Daughter and if he had to choose he would go with the first 2. Then we have 2 mins/ Moonchild and Be Quick that are co-written by Bruce. All the rest will be Harris songs. So it's possible and likely that we'll have 2-3 Bruce songs. The 80s are mainly Harris' songs. Especially, if they play 9 songs off the first 3 albums, it must be all Harris. (maybe a Harris/Di'Anno or Harris/Murray or Harris/Smith, if they play Acacia)
Bruce might play Daughter during his solo tour or he was just joking.

I can't decide! Should I spoil the setlist for myself or wait til I see Maiden?? So damn hard. In 2023 on the Future Past tour I saw the first show in Prague, the second of the tour, so it was pretty easy to avoid spoilers then. And it was an amazing experience to be honest, hearing the Blade Runner theme and then that Caught Somewhere in Time intro on tape....fuck me I screamed out loud from joy. And then straight into Stranger. Damn that was sick, the best Maiden moment I’ve had. And then Alexander on top of that... and also The Prisoner as a surprise. And Hell on Earth... so damn beautiful. And not having Hills, Hallowed or Beast was so nice haha. So yeah, it was amazing to experience that without spoilers.

Man, I am so jealous! I was living in Australia when TFP rolled around in 2023, and when I moved back to the UK in 2024 they were doing an Australian tour later that year  I'm so gutted I missed that tour. I've watched plenty of bootlegs on YouTube but obviously it doesn't compare!

Regrettably I've only seen them three times. Once with Blaze in 98, then at the Clive Burr benefit gigs in 2002 and finally on the Book of Souls world tour.

Ticket prices are absolutely outrageous these days. Favourite band or not, there's no way I'm forking over £90 per ticket!
