Absolutely perfect album, definitely my favorite after The Call of the Wretched Sea and The Chemical Wedding. Perfect from start to finish. Each moment is gold. Absolutely incredible stuff.

An excellent album rife with classic songs that deserves all the praise it gets. "Losfer Words" isn't quite on the same level as the other songs, and "Back In The Village" is held back by a disappointing chorus; but it's hard to find much fault with the other songs on the album, which are all great to superb. This is Iron Maiden firing on all cylinders, and I love it.

#6. Bookended and overrated for me, but with enough excellent moments to still warrant a great deal of praise. Production is good and Bruce sounds excellent. Suffers from forgettable songs/filler in the middle but finishes with 2 Top 10 Maiden songs. Often the songs are improved when heard within the album as a whole.
