Guess Osama "kept busy" in the compound


Among the materials confiscated from Osama bin Laden’s Pakistani compound was a cache of pornographic materials, U.S. officials say.

Investigators examining the digital materials taken from the Al Qaeda leader’s hideout during the U.S. raid earlier this month have found a “fairly extensive” collection of modern pornographic videos, Reuters reported Friday, citing U.S. officials who discussed the find on the condition of anonymity.

The difeence is that nobody liked Hussein's insane kids.

But some people liked Bin Laden.

And nothing satisfies conspiracy nuts. Any officially-released photos would be quickly disregarded as "fakes" by the tin foil hat brigade anyway.
 
A photo of a dead bin Laden would fuel a whole new generation of martyrs. Uday and Q'asay Hussein were the spoiled heirs of a dictator of a secular country and were despised by many Iraqis, so a photo of them dead did not make anyone take up arms in thier memory. bin Laden is  a more religeous figure to extremists worldwide.

I have been thinking about the future of the NATO alliance. I don't know if it will be relevant much longer, if it stil even is.

If you ask me, it would have been much more effective to discredit him while still alive. Oh well.
