I think Bruce could have done this kind of work back in the 80s as well. 

I don´t think so, mainly because the improvement as a singer involves a process that takes a lot of years.

Alright, I'll take your word for it.    My best "singing" is screaming during concerts or quiet mouthing of songs when headphones are on.
