Put this on for the first time in awhile today since it's nearly 10 years (didn't come out until September 5 in the US) and it's just as good if not better than I remember it. As much as I love Book of Souls, and I love love that album, this one is my favorite of all the reunion era material.

Different World - 8 - weak opener compared to other cds, but this song has grown on me
These Colours Don't Run - 8 - kinda like wrathchild; when I think of the song it does nothing for me...until I hear it

As a whole, I first heard the CD while driving and had a hard time making out what Bruce was saying. Later followed along on laptop with one window open of the youtube footage of the tour and the other window open with the lyrics and this gave me a much better appreciation of the material.

Disappointing to me that the only two songs I have seen played live from this cd are my two LEAST favorite: Colours and Breeg (on leg one of TFF tour)
 
Far from being my favorite Maiden album, but I recognize it seems to have been made very seriously (apart from the absence of mastering). I love bits and pieces here and there, but I find it a bit dull and little inspired as a whole (if I wanted to provoke, I would say it is "a 70-minute long power chord of Em soaked in synth and dealing with war" ;) ). I prefer hearing it live.

I have just found a good (and complete) live recording that I hadn't seen before:
