Your First Maiden Gig ?

Indeed and thanks for the welcome.
I was a fan since 95 and got hooked after a friend made me a tape with FOTD, FHTE & BQOBD (along with other metal stuff).
I immediately bought TNOTB, both Live (Real dead and Real Live), Live after Death, Killers (my first CD if I remember correctly)...
Then I proceeded to buy everything they put out (I don't have the box Eddie's archives though).

The show was great, I was really amazed to see Bruce live since I got accustomed to Blaze Bayley (even though I thought he was pretty weak and VXI to be a sub-par album).
I love every minute of it.

Donington '88 was my first Maiden gig, I was a baby 14 year-old... Arrived halfway through Megadeth (so missed GnR), stood at the back and was blown away. Since then I've seen them up close, far away, had a "hello" from Davey, seen Nicko in my chippie...

August 3rd last year - London. But it wasn't just my first Maiden gig, it was all the gigs I never got to go to in the '80s.

April 17, 2011 - Tampa, FL (The Final Frontier World Tour).

Two rows from the barrier, caught Janick's wristband during Running Free. Incredible show!

20th September 1999, Essen Grugahalle.

Ed Huntour , gift from my dad and uncle.

Amazing Night
