Welcome to Van Hagar survivor 2013!
Rules for Survivors:
If you're new, these games are like the TV show Survivor: vote to eliminate the worst, allowing the best to survive. Always vote for your LEAST favorite songs. On this new forum you have unlimited votes; At the end of a round I'll eliminate the "winners";

We have the 4 Hagar fronted Van Halen albums plus VHIII and 4 bonus tracks. The 4 bonus songs will join with III, but they will be treated as their own album, with two getting promoted.

Lets get this started with 5150 and OU812

A more rocking album, but also more filler. Has 2 songs that absolutely must be in the top ten though.

Van Halen III and the 4 bonus songs have joined the battle!

I guess to vote fairly, I'll have to listen to III again.
Didn't really like any of it, but some was less bad than others.

I had to listen to it again as well. I love the first four Extreme albums but Gary Cherone was never my favorite singer and the attempt at cloning Hagar didn't help that. Less memorable solos by Eddie as well. So it's hard enjoy it as much as the others. I think it's a step up from Balance though, which starts off really strong but is loaded with filler. III is slightly more consistent, I might even call Without You a top ten song, the rest ranges from average to really bad.
