We wanted to give you an update on moderation procedures. As always, a new tour will mean many new members, and we hope to ensure that does not lead to fights or other challenges.
Going forward, the mods will be more likely to lock threads and issue short time-outs in the case of a disruptive poster. A user who is causing disruption may be given a short, 1 day time-out while the mods discuss further action. If it's decided no action is warranted, the user will be brought back. Other discipline will be issued as needed.
The Rules have been updated to this effect.
