Another mixed round. This time there's a melodeath song, three hard rock/metal songs and a heavy/power metal song. Also, if anyone missed rounds 8, 9 or 10, go back and try to break the ties there, thanks

CoC, because that riff is so simple, yet so infectious, and Chris Cornell, because that's one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. Stellar vocal performance.

The CoC riff sounds like a rip-off version of Owner of a Lonely Heart. Easy to c$sh in with a familiar tune.

Great round:
Amon Amarth song is has good feel, terrible vocals.
Cornell's vocals, on the other had are stunning. Nice mix of soulful blues and rock, with some metal touches.
Clean My Wounds may be the best song to appear in this game. The tone in the solos is sublime.
(And the riff is only vaguely similar to Yes and the song itself is so different.)
Primal Fear is power metallish, but it has balls. Great song. I wish I could have voted for it.
Live to Rise is exactly the type of song I would think of when I hear "great short song."
