Yup, the guy really helped out much with keyboards.
Frankly, if they didn't have someone that knew (or was willing) how to do it, from road crew...Maiden would ditch synth sounds permanently. And that would be bad.

I love how he shared stage with them during Seventh Son middle part on the same tour.
