Yes he is, but it's still fine. He gets there, it sounds great although gritty towards the top and he skipped a note or so.

I love Davey's solo. It's the perfect representation of unending smoothness combined with machine-like precision. His fingers are insane to look at and you kinda lose that appreciation for them listening to audio only.
