Stryper to cover The Trooper-audio sample available

I'd prefer Stryper to stay in the 80's. 

To Hell With The Devil, ok I guess (yes, there are sure to be some that love it), but not so much my bag after that.

Um, the point of this thread is Stryper's cover of The Trooper.
 
Yes.  Almost all that I could stomach.  Stryper just doesn't have the talent to write their own stuff, so they have made poor imitations of good tunes.  Its 'Strypered Metal'-- as if they took "In God We Trust" and put it in a blender with classics, yet kept only the chaff.  I like good covers, like Dream Theaters, or when Great White did Zepplin.  Sorry, I know its Maiden (Priest, Zepplin, KISS, etc), but I'm not a fan.
