Realistic setlist

Forostar

Ancient Mariner
What do you guys think, that might be played on the upcoming tour? (So not your ultimate setlist, but the setlist that you really think they will play)

I think Iron Maiden will have the following setlist (not in order):

Iron Maiden:
1- Iron Maiden
Killers: nothing
The Number Of The Beast:
2- Hallowed Be Thy Name
3- The Number Of The Beast
4- Run To The Hills
Piece Of Mind:
5- The Trooper
Powerslave:
6- 2 Minutes To Midnight
Somewhere in Time:
7- Alexander The Great (finally)
Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son:
8- The Evil That Men Do
No Prayer For The Dying: nothing
Fear Of The Dark:
9- Fear Of The Dark
The X-Factor: nothing
Virtual XI: nothing
Brave New World:
10. Brave New World
11. Ghost Of The Navigator
Dance Of Death:
12. Wildest Dreams
13. Rainmaker
14. Montsegur
15. Dance Of Death
16. Paschendale
17. Face In The Sand

- negative points: again many of the same old classics
- positive points: a lot of the new album and FINALLY ALEXANDER THE GREAT!

Perhaps this setlist is a bit too long, so they might drop "2 Minutes to Midnight" or "Ghost Of A Navigator".

1) Wildest Dreams
2) The Trooper
3) Rainmaker
4) The Number of the Beast
5) Heaven Can Wait
6) Face in the Sand
7) The Wicker Man
8) Fear of the Dark
9) Paschendale
10) Rime of the Ancient Mariner
11) Powerslave
12) Brave New World
13) The Clansman
14) Running Free
-----------------------------------------
15) Run to the Hills
16) 2 Minutes to Midnight
17) Iron Maiden
18) Dance of Death [/quote]
Very interesting, I only have my doubts about:

5) Heaven Can Wait
10) Rime of the Ancient Mariner
11) Powerslave
13) The Clansman

Rime of the Ancient Mariner would be fantastic, but I bet that the chance that they'll play Alexander The Great is bigger than Rime, simply because Rime has already been played on two tours (even though it's a long time ago) but also because Nicko has stated that Alexander would definitely get his vote in an interview with metalfan.nl earlier this summer!

[a href=\'http://www.metalfan.nl/interviews.php?op=showcontent&id=58\' target=\'_blank\']http://www.metalfan.nl/interviews.php?op=s...owcontent&id=58[/a]

Roughly translated:

Nicko:

"Myself I really want to play ATG live. That is one of the few epic songs that have never been played yet. Now that we have three guitarists, there is no reason anymore, to not be able to do it, so my vote goes to this song."

I guess Powerslave, The Clansman and Heaven Can Wait won't be played because Maiden will rather play shorter classics to have more room for a lot of new songs in the set.

[!--QuoteBegin-MaidenSweden+Sep 22 2003, 04:48 PM--][div class=\'quotetop\']QUOTE(MaidenSweden @ Sep 22 2003, 04:48 PM)[/div][div class=\'quotemain\'][!--QuoteEBegin--] Sadly, I have no tickets for the next tour, so it doesn't matter to me so much. [/quote]
Ai, that's a pity :(

I already bought tickets at the first day of sale.

But hey, I don't live in Sweden (more of a metal country, I'd say, so I guess it was sold out soon).
