Oh, I see this getting very out of control very quickly, but I'll keep playing for now:

    Best song: Powerslave
    Worst song: Losfer Words
Surprisingly good song: Back in the Village
Most disappointing song: Flash of the Blade - Bruce's first big song about swordplay should be far better
Best moment: "Slave to the power of....DEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-AYEEE-AAYYEEE-AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH-TTTH!"

    Best lyrics: Powerslave
Best line: "We oil the jaws of the war machine and feed it with our babies."
    Best verse:
"There, calls the mariner, there comes a ship over the line
But how can she sail with no wind in her sails and no tide?"

    Best title: Powerslave

    Best intro: Aces High
    Best outro: Powerslave

    Bruce's best performance: Aces High

    Best chorus: Aces High

  3. Srogyy

    Srogyy Ancient Mariner

    Best song: Powerslave
Worst song: Back in the Village
Surprisingly good song: This is really hard when it comes to classics... I have to remember what did I think when I heard it for the first time... Let's say Losfer Words (Big 'Orra) - weird title, I probably didn't expect it to be good. :p
Most disappointing song: Back in the Village - I clearly remember liking it the least after the first listen.
Best moment: So many. The whole instrumental beginning and chorus of Aces High, Powerslave chorus... Hard to pick one.

    Best lyrics: Powerslave
Best line: 'When the life giver dies, all around is laid waste' - Don't know why... My first thought.
Best verse: Hm... Maybe the first one from Powerslave. This verse alone did a great job at creating the Egyptian mythology atmosphere.

    Best title: Powerslave. Genius.

    Best intro: Aces High
    Best outro: Powerslave

    Bruce's best performance: Aces High

Best chorus: Aces High and Powerslave
Best pre-chorus: 2 Minutes to Midnight

Most catchy song: 2 Minutes to Midnight (Not better than Aces High in the 'short' category but definitely more catchy.)
Best melody: Aces High (0:25) You guys should specify, because there are so many within songs. :p

Best bridge (missing in template): Powerslave

Best instrumental: Powerslave - from the first solo, to the beginning of the last verse.

Best guitar solo: Adrian - Rime

    Best main riff: Powerslave

Hey, how about a Man of the match award? :p For exceptional performance, songwriting input or whatever you come up with... This doesn't have to be objective. For example if Dave played some of your favourite solos on this record - there you go. In case of Powerslave my choice would be Bruce, for his overall performance (Aces High!) and the crucial writing input (title track, which besides being such an perfect song written only by him, lead to the whole graphic design).

    Best intro: Powerslave
Best outro: Back in the Village (I like the hard stop--a rarity in the Maiden catalog)
