I agree with Brigantium and particularly like the Rainbow '80 version. There is just one thing I like more in the Live after Death version : the "Keep you distance..." passage and the guitar bit that comes before. The guitar sound is great and the lines are sung differently with a subtle variation that sounds great.
Unfortunately, all the times I've heard this song live (I mean, mylself attending the gig), most of the instrumental part was ruined by Bruce tricks.
 
Studio..I always prefer studio. I don't think there's one live version of a song I'd prefer over a studio version.

It's become a pyros and talking to/spurring the crowd on part. :/
 
Indeed. The last time I saw them, at Hellfest 2014, Bruce ruined the instrumental part of Seventh Son by very slowly announcing the half-time score of a football match between France and Switzerland :nuts2:. This is my favourite song ever, and I hated him for that.
