MUSTAINE: A HEAVY METAL MEMOIR

If you know, you need no belief.

Knowing something might not be enough.

You have to believe in something if you want to do something with/about it. Belief serves as inspiration.

Examples.

Knowing that the whale (or other species) is threatened is one thing, but really believing in doing something about it is another.

Knowing that Maiden plays concerts is one thing, but really believing in going there is something else.

Knowing that you don´t like your government is one thing, but really believing you can do something about it is something else.

So, I see belief related to action. Inspiration for action.
Knowing something is fine, but believing in something/someone can be more.

Action does not need belief as an impetus. Isn't there a difference between reaction and response?
