The reason the Krusty episode premiered was to potentially fake out viewers that Krusty would be the character dying this season.

Also, I think Simpsons is still funny, it's just reliant on a different style of humour nowadays.

When I was interviewing for a job the other day, I stopped for lunch after at the local Tim's. There were two hipsters in there arguing over who had the more unique glasses. One had the traditional large, square frame. The other had large circular frameless glasses, and the fellow with the large circular frameless glasses kept going on about how nobody wore those glasses.

I stopped watching Family Guy when they were trying too hard to be Encyclopedia Dramatica a couple of seasons ago.

Also, I'm on my Uni's debating team. My first argument is one against the death penalty next week.
 
British Parliamentary mostly, but we also run a knockout double elimination tournament in Feburary, mainly for bragging rights.
 
Getting back to Family Guy...I'd find it a lot funnier if it wasn't just All in the Family with cutaways.

I did love the Star Wars episodes though.
The Star Wars episodes were fantastic. The only Family Guy I particularly like.
