I just looked at the pictures of the Helsinki gig posted on the official Iron Maiden website and realised that the West Ham hammers are "strangely" present on Dave's and H's guitars, as well on Bruce's belt for the Trooper's uniform !!
Actually it's the first time that I see this intense presence of the Hammers, which is, for me, pretty strange... I found it really wierd to put it on a belt, especially that it's small, and it can't be seen. The hammers then look like a holy symbol for them that gives them, in a special way, luck during their gigs.

I just wanted to ask, is the logo really present on these particular places, or was it just added on the pictures ? If yes, is it the first time that they "stick" the hammers "everywhere" ? And again, if yes, do you have some pictures ? It could be interesting.

Great catch! I hadn't noticed that. And I don't thing anyone would have... They are probably a refferance to the hidden extras on the History DVD (see respective section on maidenfans.com), because the buttons you push are the hammers.

On the GMETID tour they were promoting Visions DVD and Steve had a clue (666/664) on his shirt (again, see respective section on maidenfans.com). On this tour they are promoting the History DVD and this time all of them seem to be wearing the clue on their sleeve!

I think these hammers are just the signature of Johnny B, the photograph.

you can find'em here on Nicko's wristband :

mr detective. nice going, haha i knew about tha ones on Steves bass and on Davys guitar but the rest came as a shock!
its a bit strange, i guess.
 
If you look carefully you can see the letters "J" and "B" on each sides of the hammers...

you can see it well on the right-hand side drum :

I think, that the last one (On that drum) is fake...you can see wrong angle,when you compare it with the logo of taht drum...
 
No i was wrong...every logo is a fake...when you take a depper look u can see it.

BTW, have anybody else noticed how bad the quality is on the pictures from this tour on the official site? Before they used to be top quality, now they're all blury and unclear.
