European Politics

I didn't give it that detailed a thought, Herr Obersturmbannführer. -_-

What kind of a national socialist you are makes no difference to the victims. Just ask the Ukrainians.

Yes, though it's indisputable that the Ukrainians were among those having the least fun with German occupation.

I know some people who would tell you that's because history is written by the victors. ::):puke:

Yes, do so. I don't like weighing these things, but Poland, Belarus and Ukraine probably suffered the most in the war. You'll find that statement in virtually every book on the war.

Yes, though it's indisputable that the Ukrainians were among those having the least fun with German occupation.

Along with Poland. Those countries truly experienced what it's like to be stuck between the hammer and the anvil (with Germany and the Soviet Union switching roles as hammer and anvil ...)

With a change in the regulations, the judges who were handling the corruption trial involving people including the son of the prime minister and sons of some other ministers of the state were sent on an annual leave, they were replaced by a vacation court who released the defendants overnight. Like I've said before, there's no hope for this country. The country is reminiscent of the times before all the terror of late 70s and early 80s. Polarization of people, authoritarianism, corruption, unlawfulness. The situation begs for violence and revolution, hopefully I get through it without any harm. I don't even want to think about the place this country is in but I can't help it. I wish I was fucking numb to all of these like the half of the ignorant, brainwashed pricks of this country are. Sorry for bringing these stuff up all too often, I can't help it. I'm an 18 year old that is going to start his most productive years in this situation and everything looks very dark.

Kiev — Russian aircraft carrying nearly 2,000 suspected troops have landed at a military air base near the regional capital of the restive Crimean peninsula, a top Ukrainian official said Friday, accusing Moscow of an "armed invasion".

"Thirteen Russian aircraft landed at the airport of Gvardeyskoye (near Simferopol) with 150 people in each one," Sergiy Kunitsyn, the Ukrainian president's special representive in Crimea, told the local ATR television channel, adding the air space had been closed. It was not immediately clear if Russia had the right to use the base or send additional troops there under its agreements with Ukraine.
