My mom is a pretty big Status Quo fan.

True, Whatever You Want was their last good album. And yes, Burning Bridges is one of those stinkers.

Ma Kelly's Greasy Spoon is the only Quo album I've heard in full and only because I have a friend who always puts it on when he's wasted. It's a pretty good mix of boogie/hard rock and Beatles-esque melodies I have to admit though.

• On the Level (1975)

The second half of the seventies is more commercial/softer. But I do like the song In the Army Now though. :---)

My wife hates this band. There's no other band in which we differ opinion so much.
