World Cup of Maidenfans 2.0 Sweet 16: Round 1

AC/DC beats Motorhead by one vote and The Beatles beat Slayer by three votes to be the last two bands to advance.

Before we get started, a note about the seeding.
Contrary to what you might think, it hasn't been totally random.
The top 32 teams were seeded based on the results of the first World Cup; the second 32 were ranked by how well they did in the qualifying round. Where bands were very close in terms of support, I basically went with what I thought were interesting match-ups.

For the Sweet 16, the surviving bands have been reseeded based on how many votes they received in the previous round.
