Woman catches fire during surgery

A US woman has died after being severely burned in a flash fire while undergoing surgery.

Janice McCall, 65, died six days after being burned on the operating table at Heartland Regional Medical Centre in Marion, Illinois

Heartland said in a statement only that "there was an accidental flash fire in one of the hospital's operating rooms," injuring a patient before being immediately extinguished.

If I weren't that nice and clean, I would probably ask you which part of the victim caught fire. But I can't.

Colbert (not sure if he is on outside of the U.S.) had an awesome warning sign he proposed to prevent this from happening again, that I unfortunately can't find on these supposed internets. Anyway it's your basic yellow warning sign with Xs over polyester pants, hand sanitizer, a hand petting a dog and a metal shelf. Don't take my word fro it though, watch the re-run tonight.
