If Starblind would be considered an epic, then that's my choice. Purely beautiful music and wonderful poetic lyrics from Bruce, and extraordinarily passionate vocals from Bruce as well.
If Starblind doesn't fit whatever you define as an epic, does Paschendale? Emotionally moving, and excellent musically and lyrically.
If you're really picky, then I'll go ahead and give the nod to... Actually, I'm not sure what I would say then. I know those are my #1 and #2 Maiden songs, but I don't know anything beyond that. I would say it's a close battle between Alexander the Great, Seventh Son of a Seventh Son and Hallowed Be Thy Name. Gun to my head, I'd probably say Hallowed due to its emotional power. It's also, along with Rime, the quintessential Maiden epic in my eyes. Although I love Rime, it doesn't hold the same emotional power as a song like Hallowed.
So short version: if you consider Starblind and/or Paschendale epics, my choices would be those two in that order. If you don't consider either an epic, then I would probably say Hallowed.
