"Maiden Japan - Volume 2" will be released in a few weeks !

It will be the COMPLETE AUDIENCE RECORDING of... THE FAMOUS NAGOYA GIG !

The date is May 23, 1981, and the gig is famous for being the one that was used for the 5 official live tracks on "Maiden Japan" / "Heavy Metal Army" !

So with that release we will have :

May 21, 1981 : complete audience on "Maiden Japan Volume 1" 2CDs
May 22, 1981 : complete audience on 2CDRs (trading version)
May 23, 1981 : complete audience on "Maiden Japan Volume 2" 2CDs
May 24, 1981 (show 1) : TBC
May 24, 1981 (show 2) : TBC
(i don't know if the radiobroadcasted gig is the first or the second show)

More news to follow in late 2008 !

YES ! The second volume is HERE !

Tarantura just released the "Maiden Japan Volume 2".

It includes the WHOLE evening of the Nagoya May 23, 1981 gig, which was recorded for the official "Maiden Japan / Heavy Metal Army" EP !

The gig is 95m long, with... Running Free played TWICE ! 18 songs... Oh my god !

The sound is said to be amazing !

Hi,

we will probably upload it on The Trader's Den, to have the gig complete (on dime 4 tracks will have to be edited, possibly 5 as it is possible that "Running Free" on "Heavy Metal Army" is a matrix of the two performances of the song that night).

"Maiden Japan Volume 3" is confirmed for early 2009. This is still unknown if it will be the Osaka (already available) or one of the Tokyo gigs.
